Actualising your equestrian and personal goals.

It is not easy to carve out a career in equestrian.
Your network is imperative. It is difficult to strategically map out a program and then have the courage to follow through. Through passing on our knowledge and ongoing support, we strive to assist in this process the best we can.

Having a team
As a rider and a horse lover, you already know the value of hard work and dedication. However, the people you have beside you are vital to your journey. Not only does it create meaning but it holds strong through the roller coaster that is horses.

PRESENCE for peak performance coaching
What exactly is presence? How does that lead to peak performance?

Its the state when you feel easily aligned within yourself. Where success is a simply manifestation of your existence. Sounds a bit woohaa? Maybe it is. But it is what truly differentiates those with successful lives and those without.

A top athlete performs from this state when they see their biggest wins. We need to learn how to exist in this state for our best results possible.

Empowerment Coach

Shim was on a horse during her mum’s pregnancy and cannot remember a time she was not with them. They are a part of her.

Her career has seen her through to Rookie of the Year in 2019, to train at in Netherlands at Stal Tops and compete on the Global Champions Tour in 2021.

Shim has been blessed with incredible elite coaches and mentors, which she has trained with for 7 years. That is why she knows what it means to have the right support! It is now her time to step out on her own and share this knowledge with others.

Her personal mission is to live in self-expression and through ambitious pursuit carve a path that actualises this. She aims to support others in the same.

Shim believes that to empower someone is to invite them to realise their own resourcefulness and abilities. That is the heart of the Core Energy Empowerment Coaching she practices.

Horses, the sport and like-minded community are the companions she takes along this journey. Hadassah Park is the vehicle that brings this forward.

Sex: Mare

Age: 15

Sire: Vigo Darsoullies

Bonaire was bred by VHL Stables in the Netherlands, where she was trained to become an experienced 5* horse to take Shim up the grades. Acquired in 2017, Bonaire is over 17 hands tall with a slow beat stride. Extremely smart, she will watch her top rail from many strides out.

She’s sometimes misunderstood to be lacking energy and impulsion. But when ridden with balance and feel, she shows exceptional talent. Bonaire achieved what she was trained to do – and took Shim through to World Cup level in Australia.

She’s now based in Normandie, France, and is part of our Tasteof Europe and embryo breeding programs.

Sex: Gelding

Age: 10

Sire: Untouchable

Bred by Tops International, Richie was sired by top European stallion, Untouchable Z. He was bought in 2018 as Shim’s first young horse. A playful and talented jumper, Richie has an amazing scopey canter with an even rhythm.

Richie is now jumping 5* in Europe with Amy Graham.

Sex: Mare

Age: 10

Sire: Non Stop

Dassina was bought as a 7-year-old to jump 140–150 and bring a competitive edge to the team. Extremely fast and hot-blooded, Dassina is careful and has a top-quality jump. The biggest challenge is getting her to maintain rhythm and keep evenness of stride. But she has come a long way – and is now consistent at 3* level.

Sex: Mare

Age: 8

Sire: Diamont De Semilly

Bought when she was 5 years old, Dancing Queen is a small 15-hand horse with a big stride, jump and attitude to the fence.

Her quirky and pushy personality compensates for her size and gives her the edge she needs. She has a quirky mouth in the last few strides, so we use a combination bit on her to stabilise the feel.

Dancing Queen is now competing 2* in Europe.
